Error validating verification code
I have fixed with this modification: https://github.com/gioblu/omniauth-facebook/commit/eff97bfae32f72821cbccf0b48b78351e41eb585 If you perceive this correct, tell me and I will make a pull request as soon as possible. Right now, 100% of people trying to set up Facebook Rails are getting this error. Doesn't that mean a new version should be pushed out soon? replace
Facebook is configured correctly and the website is pointing (in facebook) to the root of drupal (https://mywebsite.net/, the URL is equal to what the facebook configuration in drupal points: You must set Site URL to ...). The redirect URL after login/error is empty, but I already tried several combinations from putting the full link (https://mywebsite.net/, https://mywebsite.net, /, [site:url] - token is installed and enabled). Would be really nice if someone can help with the issue (https:// is working, but it does not map the user information back to the drupal user profile). Please make sure your redirect_uri is identical to the one you used in the OAuth dialog request" This is part of code of my authorithation I use last version Hybrid Auth 2.8.3-dev. Go check what the value of the redirect_uri parameter in the login dialog URL is.invalid_credentials: OAuth2:: Error, : web_1 | web_1 | Processing by Users:: Omniauth Callbacks Controller#failure as HTML web_1 | Parameters: web_1 | Redirected to web_1 | Completed 302 Found in 1ms (Active Record: 0.0ms) I have the same issue.Happens because the redirect_uri contains also the code parameter. If I dont enter the callback URL in initializers/i get the redirect URI error as listed above. :) Perhaps this isn't the place to ask, but maybe this warrants a new release / push to gems? Replace This line: options[:callback_url]
We're running into an issue where the Facebook OAuth is unable to acquire an access token when a redirect_uri contains spaced parameters.
